Memories of a hike through the Corsican maquis
Take in the midsummer fragrance released with your every step… Dry, aromatic perfume of thyme, rosemary, sage, and wild lavender. A camphoric note with summery facets.
Origins and culture
The herbal family is one of the five main fragrance families and constitutes a creative playground of its own.
Sage, rosemary, and thyme have always been some of nature’s timeless fragrances, particularly in the Mediterranean Basin, dating as far back as Antiquity. With the dawn of modern perfumery in the nineteenth century, herbs were naturally included in the traditional formula of Eau de Cologne, as was Bergamot.
For the Compoz collection of natural essences, this naturally potent aromatic perfume brings a sunny freshness to your compositions. It can be used either as a top note or a middle note, for example when blended with the delicate, spicy scent of cinnamon.
